Helping improve the care of those living with Motor Neurone Disease

If you are a health professional or service provider involved and/or interested in improving the care of people living with MND please join us.

Following the success of our COP for MND Care in 2024, we are wanting to continue the conversation in 2025.

What we did we learn and achieve in 2024?

• Needs and priorities of people with lived experience and participants
• Formation of working party 'Timely Integration of Palliative Care'
• All COP participants felt that is COP aided their practice and learning needs and was a good platform to share knowledge and understand the needs of people with lived experience in MND.

At the upcoming COP meeting

• We will listen to stories from people with lived experience and a health professional on the psychological needs of people living with MND.
• An introduction from our expert psychology/counselling panel on how you can address these psychological needs and when to refer to specialist services.
• Breakout and group discussion on your experience and support for health professionals.
