This public lecture will consider barriers to early palliative care, it's role in the changing landscape of oncology, and new models that could reimagine future delivery of palliative care.
Presented by Professor Jennifer Philip
Jennifer Philip is the Chair of Palliative Medicine, University of Melbourne, St Vincent’s Hospital but collaborates extensively with the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre. She is a palliative care physician whose research focuses on improving access and equity to quality care for people with advanced illness and improving the evidence base underpinning symptom management.
We are delighted to draw upon her expertise to explore possible future directions for palliative care as our 2025 Peter Meese Memorial Lecture speaker.
