Palliative Care Victoria together with Parkville Integrated Palliative Care are pleased to offer you the opportunity to hear Dr Hsien Seow, renowned podcaster, author and advocate for the reclamation of person-centered care.
In the podcast, The Waiting Room Revolution, Dr. Seow and his colleague, Dr. Winemaker, shared 7 keys to navigate a life-changing diagnosis in 2021. Since then, the podcast has become a global social movement. They've since published a best-selling book to support patients and families to leech out a palliative approach to care without the labels. A/Professor Jaclyn Yoong is a Medical Oncologist and Palliative Care Physician from Melbourne. Her primary work-related interests are in lung cancer care and effective integration with palliative care. More recently she has also become interested in integrated palliative care for patients with progressive neurological disease. When she’s not working, she enjoys motorsports and thinks life shouldn’t be taken too seriously, because, after all, laughter is the best medicine.
