Over the month of October, Palliative Care Victoria will be delivering a four part webinar series to celebrate Seniors Month.
These sessions are designed to empower community members to take control of there end-of-life journey by developing better awareness about palliative care, Advance Care Planning and End-of-Life care. These webinars will be held every Friday afternoon from 2pm – 3pm throughout the month of October with a different theme each week.
October 4th: General introduction to Palliative Care
October11th - Palliative care in Rural and Regional Victoria
October 18th - Palliative Care in Aged Care services
October 25th - Palliative Care in Multicultural communities
Key questions we will answer in each session include:
- What is palliative care and who is it for?
- When does a person need palliative care and how is it accessed?
- Where can a person receive palliative care and by who?
- What support is available for families and friends of a person needing palliative care?
