Eastern Palliative Care Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation that provides home-based specialist palliative care to clients and their carers living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. Families and significant others of clients can access music therapy support, which includes individual sessions and groups. We have a vacancy in our Music Therapy team for a someone to cover a 2 month period - 3 days per week (8 hours per day)

Selection Criteria

To be successful, you will have:

  • Accredited Tertiary Degree and or equivalent within the field of Music Therapy as recognised by the Australian Music Therapy Association Inc. 
  • Current Registration with the AMTA Inc. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  •  Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
  •  Current One Music Australia licence 
  • Experience in common computer applications 
  • Current Victorian driver’s license, good driving record and willingness to use own vehicle in line with EPC Process Map 1761 – Motor Vehicle Use Of
  • Experience in community health, preferably in palliative care 
  • Experience in family-centred music therapy, group facilitation and individual music therapy 
  • Experience in music therapy as related to palliative care and bereavement
